PSPCL Recruitment 2014 – Apply Online for 1000 Technical Posts

Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has posted employment notification for the recruitment of 1000 Lineman Vacancies on contract basis. Eligible candidates may apply online on or before 16.01.2014. Other details like age limit, educational qualification, application fee details, selection process and how to apply are given below…

Total Number of Vacancies : 1000 posts
Names of Posts : Lineman
Category Wise Vacancy Details :
1. General : 500 Posts
2. SC/Mazbi/ Balmiki : 125 Posts
3. Backward Classes : 120 Posts
4. Ex- Serviceman / DXSM : 70 Posts
5. Physically Challenged : 30 Posts
6. Sports Person : 20 Posts
7. Freedom Fighter : 10 Posts

Age limit : Candidate age limit should be between 18 to 39 years as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxations are applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification : Candidates should possess Matriculation or equivalent qualification and National Apprenticeship Certificate in Lineman Trade and must have done 2 years Apprenticeship in PSPCL/ PSTCL or erstwhile PSEB and should have knowledge in Punjabi.

Mode of Selection : Selection will be made purely on merit basis.

Application Fee : Candidates need to pay Rs. 300/- for All categories except SC & Person with disability, Rs. 150/- for Person with disability category, Rs. 75/- for SC category with Rs. 50/- Bank charges for all categories in the form of Challan in any Branch of SBOP.

How to Apply : Interested Candidates can apply through online through PSPCL website in English http://www.pspcl.in/ from 26-12-2013 to 16-01-2014.

Online Registration will close on : 16.01.2014
Fee deposit in the bank will close on : 21.01.2014.
